Reduce condensation, humidity and unwanted odours with the Xpelair Simply Silent C4TSR 100mm Extractor Fan. Designed for bathrooms, shower rooms, cloakrooms and toilets, this compact axial fan combines effective ventilation with exceptionally quiet operation.
Xpelair's Ghost Air Movement Technology uses a long-life motor and precision-engineered components to minimise mechanical noise. The C4TSR offers two selectable speeds, producing sound levels of just 15dB(A) at 3 metres on its lower setting, making it particularly suitable for bathrooms and en-suites where a noisy extractor fan can be disruptive.
The fan provides two extraction rates of 54 or 76m³/h (15 or 21 litres per second), with the required speed selected during installation. This gives the installer flexibility to configure the fan according to the ventilation requirements of the room.
A key feature of the C4TSR is its adjustable overrun timer. The fan can be activated through an external switch, such as the bathroom light circuit, and once the switch is turned off, the extractor continues running for a preset period. The timer can be adjusted from approximately 30 seconds to 30 minutes, allowing remaining moisture and humid air to continue being extracted after you leave the room.
The C4 range is also particularly flexible when it comes to installation. It is suitable for wall, ceiling, panel and window fitting, and uses standard 100mm / 4-inch ducting. An integrated backdraught shutter helps reduce unwanted reverse airflow when the fan isn't operating.
Both square and round interchangeable front covers are supplied, allowing the appearance of the fan to be matched more easily to your bathroom or installation. The square fascia measures approximately 180 x 180mm, while the alternative round cover is approximately 200mm in diameter.
