The Xpelair WX9 Commercial Wall Extractor Fan is a powerful 9-inch (225mm) axial ventilation fan designed for commercial and industrial environments. Ideal for restaurants, pubs, commercial kitchens, offices, factories, schools and shops, this high-performance fan provides effective ventilation to help remove stale air, excess heat, moisture and unwanted odours.
Delivering an extraction rate of up to 783m³/h (approximately 218 litres per second), the WX9 provides high-volume airflow for commercial spaces requiring dependable ventilation.
The fan features reversible operation, allowing it to be used for both air extraction and intake ventilation when connected to a compatible controller. Two-speed operation is also available with the optional Xpelair FR22/30 controller, providing greater flexibility over airflow and ventilation performance.
An integrated electro-thermal shutter automatically closes when the fan is switched off, helping prevent unwanted backdraughts and maintaining a more comfortable indoor environment.
Designed for installation in external walls, the Xpelair WX9 is suitable for single brick, cavity brick and timber-frame construction. It comes complete with a wall-mounting kit and a corrugated plastic wall liner that can be cut to suit the installation.
The slimline white fascia provides a neat, professional finish, while integrated finger guards offer additional safety. A positive plug-and-socket connection also allows convenient electrical isolation during maintenance.
