The Warmlite Whitby 2kW Electric Fire combines traditional fireplace appeal with convenient modern electric heating. Finished in contemporary Chrome, the WL45048 is designed as an inset-style fire and features a realistic LED flame effect with a coal-effect fuel bed, creating an attractive focal point for the living room.
The realistic LED flame and coal effect provides the welcoming appearance of a traditional fire without the maintenance associated with solid fuel. Flame brightness can be adjusted to suit the room, whether you prefer a subtle background glow or a brighter fireplace display.
Importantly, the flame effect operates independently of the heater. This means the Whitby can be enjoyed purely for ambience during milder weather without producing unwanted heat, making it useful throughout the year.
When additional warmth is required, two selectable heating levels provide approximately 1kW or 2kW of power. An adjustable thermostat allows you to select a comfortable room temperature, while the fire automatically manages its heating operation to help maintain the chosen setting.
The Whitby also incorporates a programmable timer with both daily and seven-day scheduling. Heating can therefore be programmed around your normal routine rather than relying entirely on manual operation.
Adaptive Start technology provides another useful feature. When used with programmed heating periods, the fire can calculate when heating needs to begin so the room reaches the desired temperature at the selected time.
A supplied remote control allows the main functions to be adjusted from across the room, including temperature, heating operation, flame brightness and timer settings. Controls and an LED display are also incorporated directly into the appliance.
Safety is supported by an integrated thermal cut-out, which protects the appliance if abnormal overheating is detected.
At approximately 59cm high and 48cm wide, the Whitby retains the familiar proportions of a traditional inset electric fire. Its bright Chrome finish gives the design a more contemporary character than the Brass WL45049 version while retaining the classic coal-effect fireplace appearance.
With adjustable heating, independent LED flames, remote operation and seven-day programming, the Warmlite Whitby WL45048 offers an easy-to-use combination of supplementary warmth and traditional fireplace ambience.
