The Warmlite Whitby 2kW Electric Fire combines traditional fireplace styling with modern electric heating, creating a warm and attractive focal point without the maintenance associated with a real coal or gas fire. Finished with a classic brass-effect surround, the WL45049 is particularly well suited to traditional living rooms and fireplace surrounds.
A realistic LED flame effect illuminates the supplied coal-effect fuel bed to recreate the welcoming appearance of a traditional fireplace. The flame brightness can be adjusted, allowing you to create anything from a subtle background glow to a brighter and more prominent fire effect.
The LED flame effect can be enjoyed independently of the heater, making the Whitby useful throughout the year. You can create the atmosphere of a lit fireplace during milder weather without adding unnecessary heat to the room.
When additional warmth is required, the integrated electric heater provides two heat levels with a maximum rated consumption of 2000W. The nominal maximum continuous heat output is approximately 1.9kW, providing effective supplementary heating for well-insulated rooms and occasional use.
Temperature can be selected electronically, while the Whitby's intelligent Auto function automatically manages the heating operation in response to the selected room temperature.
The fire also features a programmable weekly timer, allowing heating periods to be scheduled around your normal routine. Adaptive Start technology can begin heating in advance so the selected temperature is reached at the programmed time rather than only starting to heat at that point.
A supplied remote control provides convenient access to the fire's settings from across the room. The remote can be used to manage heating, temperature, flame brightness, timer functions and other settings, while controls are also provided directly on the appliance.
Built-in thermal safety protection automatically switches the heater off if abnormal overheating is detected, providing additional reassurance during everyday operation.
Measuring approximately 59cm high and 48cm wide, the Whitby provides the familiar proportions of a traditional inset fire.
