Description
Keep your home and outdoor spaces secure with the TP-Link Tapo C500 Outdoor Pan/Tilt WiFi Security Camera. Designed for reliable home surveillance, this smart security camera combines 1080p Full HD video, 360° viewing coverage and intelligent person detection to help you monitor your property day and night.
Ideal for driveways, gardens, entrances and outdoor areas, the Tapo C500 connects to your home WiFi network and allows you to view live footage directly from your smartphone using the Tapo app. Its weather-resistant construction, automatic motion tracking and night vision make it a practical security solution for Irish homes.
360° Pan and Tilt Coverage
Unlike traditional fixed-position security cameras, the Tapo C500 offers 360° horizontal and 130° vertical viewing coverage. This allows you to monitor a wider area and reduce blind spots without installing multiple cameras.
The camera can be adjusted remotely through the Tapo app, making it particularly useful for monitoring driveways, gardens and larger outdoor spaces.
1080p Full HD Video Quality
Capture clear and detailed footage with 1080p Full HD resolution. Whether you're checking your driveway, monitoring your garden or reviewing recorded activity, the Tapo C500 provides sharp video to help you see what's happening around your property.
Intelligent Person Detection and Motion Tracking
The Tapo C500 uses smart AI technology to identify people and distinguish them from general movement.
When a person is detected, the camera can automatically track their movement, helping you maintain visibility as they move through the monitored area.
Instant notifications can be sent to your smartphone, allowing you to stay informed about activity around your home.
Night Vision Up to 30 Metres
Monitor your property after dark with infrared night vision offering visibility up to approximately 30 metres.
Whether you're checking your entrance late at night or monitoring your garden during the winter months, the Tapo C500 helps maintain visibility even in low-light conditions.
IP65 Weather-Resistant Design
Built for outdoor installation, the Tapo C500 features an IP65 weather-resistance rating, providing protection against dust and rain.
This makes it suitable for year-round outdoor use in Ireland, including installation around driveways, gardens and entrances.
Two-Way Audio and Customisable Alarm
The built-in microphone and speaker allow you to communicate with visitors through the Tapo app.
You can speak to someone at your entrance or communicate with a delivery driver without being physically present.
The camera also features a customisable sound alarm that can help deter unwanted visitors.
Flexible Video Storage
Record footage locally using a compatible microSD card with a capacity of up to 512GB, sold separately.
The camera supports continuous recording to a suitable microSD card, allowing you to review activity when needed.
Optional Tapo Care cloud storage is also available through a paid subscription.
Easy Installation and Smart Home Compatibility
The Tapo C500 supports wall and ceiling installation, with optional pole mounting using separately purchased mounting loops.
It connects to a 2.4GHz WiFi network and can be controlled through the Tapo app.
The camera also supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for compatible smart home integration.
Please note that the Tapo C500 requires a mains power connection and is not battery-powered.
