The two-band design makes the Roberts Sports 995 a practical choice for listeners who enjoy traditional radio.
15 Station Presets
Quickly access your favourite radio stations using the convenient preset memory system.
The Roberts Sports 995 provides 15 direct-access presets across its FM and MW bands.
Store your preferred stations and return to them without manually searching for the correct frequency each time.
This feature is particularly convenient when switching between music, news and sports broadcasts.
Digital PLL Tuning
The Sports 995 features digital PLL tuning for accurate station selection.
Choose between manual tuning and automatic scan tuning to find available radio stations.
The clear LCD display shows useful information, including the selected frequency, making operation straightforward.
Deep Bass Boost
Enjoy enhanced audio with the integrated Deep Bass Boost function.
This feature allows you to increase bass response when listening to music through your headphones.
Switch between standard audio and enhanced bass to suit your listening preferences.
Stereo Earphones Included
The Roberts Sports 995 comes supplied with stereo earphones, allowing you to start listening without purchasing additional headphones.
The 3.5mm headphone connection also supports compatible wired headphones.
The headphone cable acts as the FM aerial, helping the radio receive FM broadcasts.
This makes the radio particularly suitable for private listening while travelling or spending time in shared spaces.
Convenient Lock Switch
Prevent accidental button presses with the integrated lock switch.
When activated, the lock function helps prevent the radio from switching on or changing settings unintentionally while stored in a pocket or bag.
This practical feature is especially useful when travelling or exercising.
Battery-Powered Portability
The Roberts Sports 995 operates using two AAA batteries, allowing you to listen without needing a mains power connection.
Its battery-powered design makes it suitable for everyday portable use, whether you're at home or away.
The radio also features an automatic power-off function designed to help conserve battery life.
FM Stereo and Mono Selection
The radio includes an FM stereo/mono setting, allowing you to adjust reception to suit listening conditions.
When receiving a weaker FM signal, switching to mono can help reduce background hiss and improve listening comfort.
This provides additional flexibility when listening in areas where reception varies.
Easy-to-Read LCD Display

The display also includes a clock function, adding everyday convenience to this compact personal radio.
