Description
Add a little extra style to everyday tea and coffee making with the Morphy Richards Illumination 1.7L Jug Kettle. Finished in sophisticated black with chrome detailing, the Illumination range is designed to look as good on the kitchen worktop as it is practical to use.
The standout feature is its soft blue illumination, which lights up while the kettle is boiling. Combined with the textured finish and chrome accents, it gives the kettle a distinctive contemporary appearance that pairs particularly well with other appliances from the Morphy Richards Illumination collection.
With a generous 1.7-litre capacity, the kettle can prepare up to approximately six drinks at once, making it suitable for busy households and entertaining as well as everyday use. An easy-view water window helps you see how much water you've added, so you can boil only what you need.
A powerful 3kW rapid-boil element gets water ready quickly, particularly useful during busy mornings or when you're preparing several hot drinks. The concealed element also helps keep the interior straightforward to maintain.
A removable and washable limescale filter helps keep water clear and makes regular maintenance easier, while boil-dry protection automatically switches the kettle off if it's accidentally operated without sufficient water.
The kettle lifts completely away from its 360-degree cordless base, allowing it to be returned to the base from any direction and making it equally convenient for left- and right-handed users. Integrated cord storage helps keep excess cable neatly tucked away on the worktop.
