Description
Stay cosy through colder nights with the Dreamland Peaceful Dreams Double Electric Overblanket, a luxuriously soft heated blanket designed to provide personalised warmth for two.
Unlike an electric underblanket that sits beneath you, the Peaceful Dreams Overblanket can be draped over your existing bedding or tucked inside a duvet cover, surrounding you with gentle warmth from above. Its generous 180 x 180cm double size provides comfortable coverage for two people, while the super-soft ivory polyester fabric and satin trim give it the feel and appearance of a traditional comforter.
For couples, one of the biggest advantages is the dual-control design. Two detachable digital Intelliheat controllers allow each person to independently select their preferred level of warmth, so there's no need to agree on the same temperature.
Dreamland's Intelliheat technology continuously monitors the temperature of the blanket and automatically regulates its heat output to maintain comfortable warmth. The integrated sensor system monitors temperature repeatedly as you use the blanket, responding to changes rather than simply delivering constant heat.
Each controller offers six temperature settings, giving you plenty of flexibility from gentle background warmth to a cosier setting on particularly cold nights. Dreamland's Fast Heat technology can warm the overblanket in approximately five minutes, making it ideal for taking the chill off the bed shortly before bedtime.
A selectable 1, 3 or 9-hour automatic shut-off timer gives you control over how long the blanket operates. Use the shorter setting to pre-warm the bed or select a longer period when you want warmth to continue through the night. An active safety system and overheat protection provide additional reassurance during use.
The Peaceful Dreams Overblanket isn't limited to bedtime either. Its soft construction makes it suitable for cosying up on the sofa, and Dreamland also specifies it as suitable for use with memory foam mattresses. The digital controls automatically adjust their LED brightness too, helping minimise unnecessary light in the bedroom at night.
Keeping the blanket fresh is straightforward. Simply detach both controllers and the overblanket can be machine washed and tumble dried. A reusable storage bag is also included, giving you somewhere convenient to keep it protected during the warmer months.
