Description
Bring warmth, comfort and contemporary elegance to your home with the Dimplex Luna 16 Inch Optiflame Inset Electric Fire in Brushed Chrome. Combining realistic flame effects with powerful electric heating, this stylish inset fire creates an inviting focal point for living rooms, dining rooms and other suitable spaces.
Featuring Dimplex's renowned Optiflame technology, a glowing log-effect fuel bed and two heat settings delivering up to 2kW, the Luna offers the atmosphere of a traditional fireplace with the convenience of modern electric heating.
With remote control operation, adjustable flame effects, thermostatic temperature control and a flame-only setting, the Dimplex Luna is designed to provide comfort throughout the year.
Realistic Optiflame Flame Technology
Experience the beauty of a traditional fireplace without the maintenance associated with burning solid fuel.
The Dimplex Luna features advanced Optiflame technology, creating realistic flickering flames that dance above a glowing log-effect fuel bed.
The combination of animated flames and LED lighting produces an attractive visual effect, adding warmth and character to your living space.
Whether you're relaxing in the evening or entertaining guests, the Luna creates a welcoming atmosphere at the touch of a button.
Powerful 2kW Electric Heating
Stay comfortable during colder weather with the Luna's integrated fan-assisted heating system.
The fire offers two selectable heat settings:
- 1kW Heat Setting: Ideal for providing gentle supplementary warmth.
- 2kW Heat Setting: Provides additional heating when temperatures drop.
The fan-assisted heater distributes warm air into the room, making the Luna a practical supplementary heating solution for everyday use.
Flame Effect Without Heat
Enjoy the relaxing appearance of a real fire even when additional heating isn't required.
The Dimplex Luna features an independent flame-only setting, allowing you to operate the Optiflame effect without activating the heater.
This makes it possible to enjoy the attractive flame display throughout the year, including during warmer spring and summer evenings.
The energy-efficient LED flame effect consumes approximately 13W, making it a practical way to create ambience without running the heating system.
Adjustable Flame and Ambient Lighting
Personalise your fireplace to suit your mood and surroundings.
The Luna features adjustable flame brightness and ambient lighting settings, allowing you to create different visual effects.
Choose a subtle, relaxing glow for quiet evenings or a brighter flame display when entertaining family and friends.
The adjustable lighting makes the fire a versatile decorative feature for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Convenient Remote Control
Enjoy complete control without leaving your seat.
The included remote control allows you to adjust the fire's heating and flame settings from the comfort of your sofa.
You can also operate the fire using the conveniently positioned manual controls on the appliance.
This flexibility makes the Luna easy to use for different members of the household.
Thermostatic Temperature Control
Maintain a comfortable room temperature with the integrated electronic thermostat.
The thermostat helps regulate the heating output according to your selected temperature, reducing unnecessary heating once the desired level of warmth has been reached.
This provides greater control over your indoor environment while helping you manage electricity consumption.
8-Hour Programmable Timer
The Dimplex Luna includes a convenient programmable timer, allowing you to control the fire's operation for up to eight hours.
This feature is particularly useful when you want the fire to operate for a selected period without needing to switch it off manually.
Combined with the thermostat, the timer provides additional convenience for everyday heating.
Elegant Brushed Chrome Finish
The Luna features a sophisticated brushed chrome finish that complements a wide range of interior styles.
Its sleek metallic surround adds a contemporary touch while retaining the classic appearance of an inset fireplace.
The understated design works particularly well with marble, stone and traditional fireplace surrounds.
Whether you're updating an existing fireplace or creating a new focal point, the Luna provides an attractive combination of modern styling and traditional character.
Designed for Inset Installation
The Dimplex Luna is designed to fit into a suitable fireplace opening, creating a neat and integrated appearance.
Its 16-inch inset design makes it particularly suitable for replacing an existing inset electric fire or updating a traditional fireplace surround.
Unlike gas or solid-fuel fires, the Luna does not require a working chimney or flue for combustion.
However, the fireplace opening and surrounding installation must meet the manufacturer's specified dimensions and ventilation requirements.
Always consult the installation instructions before fitting.
Optional Spacer Kit for Flexible Installation
For homes where a suitable recessed fireplace opening is unavailable, the Dimplex Luna can also be installed using an optional spacer kit.
The spacer provides additional installation flexibility, allowing the fire to be positioned against a suitable flat wall or within a shallower fireplace opening.
This makes the Luna a practical choice for a wider range of living spaces.
Please note: The spacer kit is an optional accessory and is sold separately.
Low-Maintenance Electric Heating
Enjoy the appearance of a traditional fire without the inconvenience of storing fuel, cleaning ashes or maintaining a combustion system.
The Dimplex Luna operates using mains electricity, making it a convenient alternative to solid-fuel and gas fireplaces.
The LED flame effect requires minimal maintenance, while the integrated heating system provides warmth whenever needed.
Built-In Safety Features
The Luna includes an integrated safety cut-out designed to provide additional protection during operation.
The fire also features electronic temperature control, allowing you to regulate the heating output to suit your room.
As with any electric heater, the appliance should be installed and operated according to the manufacturer's safety instructions, with appropriate clearance from furniture, curtains and other combustible materials.
Create a Cosy Living Space
Whether you're upgrading an existing fireplace or adding a stylish heating feature to your home, the Dimplex Luna combines attractive design with everyday practicality.
Its realistic Optiflame technology, adjustable lighting, powerful heating and convenient remote control make it an excellent choice for creating a warm and welcoming living environment.
