The Dimplex Ignite Ultra 50 is a premium built-in electric fire designed to create a dramatic, highly realistic fireplace feature in contemporary living spaces and media walls. Combining Dimplex's advanced Optiflame flame technology with illuminated logs, a deep fuel bed, crackling fire sounds and flexible installation options, it delivers the atmosphere of a real fire without the need for a chimney, flue or gas supply.
At the centre of the Ignite Ultra is Dimplex's advanced flame presentation. The large 50-inch viewing area creates a wide, immersive fire display, while LED lighting and a mirrored rear panel enhance the perception of depth. Illuminated logs and tumbled glass create a richly detailed fuel bed, with the logs producing an inner glow that works alongside the moving flame effect for a more convincing fireplace experience.
The Ignite Ultra adds another dimension with integrated crackling fire sound effects. These can be used to complement the visual flame display and recreate more of the atmosphere associated with a traditional wood-burning fire.
One of the biggest advantages of the Ignite Ultra is its installation flexibility. Rather than being limited to a conventional front-facing fireplace, the ULT50-EU can be configured as a one, two or three-sided fire. This allows it to be incorporated into a traditional recessed installation, a contemporary corner arrangement or a three-sided feature fireplace.
That flexibility makes the Ignite Ultra particularly attractive for bespoke media walls and architectural room designs where the fire itself is intended to become a focal point.
The flame effect can be operated independently of the heater, allowing the Ignite Ultra to provide visual ambience throughout the year without producing unwanted heat during warmer months.
When additional warmth is required, an integrated fan heater provides up to approximately 2kW of heat. Thermostatic control helps maintain a comfortable room temperature rather than simply running the heater continuously.
Operation is straightforward using the controls located on the fire or the supplied multifunction remote control. The Ignite Ultra is also compatible with Dimplex's Flame Connect app, providing another convenient way to customise and control the fireplace experience.
Despite its substantial visual impact, there is no fuel to store, ash to remove or chimney to maintain. The electric design provides a clean and convenient way to create the appearance and atmosphere of a built-in fireplace.
