Description
The Dimplex Ignite Bold 60 is a premium built-in electric fire designed to create a striking centrepiece in contemporary living rooms, media walls and bespoke fireplace installations. At 1565mm wide, it sits between the 50-inch and 74-inch models in the Ignite Bold collection, providing an impressive panoramic flame display without requiring the space of the largest model.
Dimplex's Optiflame technology creates a vivid flame effect across the wide viewing area, with realistic logs and tumbled glass adding depth and texture to the fuel bed. A reflective rear panel enhances the perception of depth, while the tall tinted front glass provides an expansive view of the flames.
The appearance of the fire is highly customisable. Seven flame effects and five media-bed colour options allow you to alter the atmosphere to suit the room or occasion. Flame brightness and speed can also be adjusted, providing considerably more flexibility than a conventional fixed electric flame effect.
The Ignite Bold can be enjoyed throughout the year because its flame effect operates independently of the heater. During warmer months, you can create the ambience of a fireplace without adding heat to the room, with the flame-only effect consuming approximately 23W.
One of the major advantages of the Ignite Bold is its installation flexibility. It can be configured as a traditional one-sided front-facing fire, a two-sided corner installation or an impressive three-sided panoramic fireplace. This makes it particularly suitable for custom media walls, chimney breasts and architectural feature installations.
For even larger installations, multiple Ignite Bold fires can be linked together to create an extended fireplace display.
When additional warmth is required, the integrated fan heater provides up to approximately 2kW of supplementary heating. Dimplex's ComfortSaver technology uses electronic temperature control to regulate heat output and maintain a more consistent room temperature rather than simply operating at full power continuously.
A seven-day programmable timer allows heating to be scheduled around your routine, while an ambient light sensor helps optimise the firebox illumination according to surrounding light conditions.
The Ignite Bold can be controlled using the supplied Bluetooth remote, discreet manual controls or the Dimplex Flame Connect app. Smartphone control provides convenient access to heating settings as well as flame colours, media-bed colours, flame brightness and flame speed.
At only 289mm deep, the BXLF1500 delivers a substantial 60-inch fireplace display while remaining practical for integration into a purpose-built media wall.
Combining a panoramic Optiflame display, extensive visual customisation, flexible one, two or three-sided installation and intelligent electric heating, the Dimplex Ignite Bold 60 is an outstanding focal-point fire for modern living spaces.
