Transform your living space with the Dimplex Dumfries Optiflame 3D Electric Fire in Chrome. Combining elegant contemporary styling with advanced flame technology, this beautiful inset electric fire creates a welcoming atmosphere while providing practical supplementary heating.
Featuring Dimplex's realistic Optiflame 3D technology, a powerful 2kW fan heater and a choice of decorative fuel beds, the Dumfries allows you to create the perfect fireplace display for your home.
With adjustable flame colours, remote control operation, thermostatic heating and an independent flame-only function, this stylish chrome electric fire offers an excellent combination of visual appeal and everyday convenience.
Realistic Optiflame 3D Technology
Experience the beauty of a traditional fireplace with Dimplex's advanced Optiflame 3D technology.
The innovative flame effect creates an enhanced sense of depth, producing the appearance of flickering flames rising naturally through the decorative fuel bed.
Unlike conventional electric fires with flat flame displays, Optiflame 3D creates a more immersive visual experience.
The result is a beautiful fireplace focal point that brings warmth and character to your living room.
Customisable Flame Colours
Personalise your fireplace with adjustable flame colours.
Choose traditional warm orange flames for a cosy atmosphere or introduce blue flame effects for a more contemporary appearance.
The adjustable lighting allows you to create a display that complements your interior and personal preferences.
Whether you're relaxing in the evening or entertaining guests, the Dumfries makes it easy to set the mood.
Adjustable Flame Intensity
Enjoy greater control over your fireplace display with four flame intensity settings.
Choose between low, medium, high and pulsating effects to create the appearance you prefer.
The adjustable flame brightness allows you to select a subtle background glow or a more dramatic visual display.
Three Decorative Fuel Bed Options
The Dimplex Dumfries includes three decorative fuel bed options, allowing you to customise the appearance of your fire.
Choose from:
- Traditional Coals: Create the appearance of a classic open fireplace.
- Realistic Logs: Enjoy the cosy atmosphere of a traditional log fire.
- Decorative Crystals: Introduce a contemporary finishing touch.
The integrated downlighting enhances the fuel bed and adds depth to the overall flame effect.
Powerful 2kW Fan Heating
Stay comfortable with the integrated 2000W fan heater.
The Dumfries provides two selectable heat settings, allowing you to adjust the output according to your requirements.
Choose the 1kW setting for gentle supplementary warmth or the full 2kW setting when additional heating is needed.
The fan heater provides practical warmth while the realistic flame display creates an inviting atmosphere.
This appliance is intended for well-insulated spaces or occasional use.
Adjustable Thermostat
Maintain a comfortable temperature with the integrated variable thermostat.
The thermostat regulates the heating function according to your selected setting, helping maintain a consistent level of warmth.
This provides convenient temperature management without requiring constant manual adjustment.
Flame-Only Function
Enjoy the appearance of a glowing fireplace throughout the year with the independent flame-only setting.
The Optiflame 3D effect can operate without activating the heating element, allowing you to create a relaxing atmosphere during warmer months.
The LED flame effect uses approximately 10W when operating without heat, making it an economical way to enjoy the visual appeal of a fire.
Convenient Remote Control
Adjust your fireplace without leaving your seat using the included remote control.
The remote allows you to manage the flame display and heating functions from across the room.
Manual controls are also available beneath the fire's canopy, providing an alternative method of operation.
Elegant Chrome Finish
The Dimplex Dumfries features an attractive chrome finish that complements contemporary and traditional fireplace surrounds.
Its polished appearance adds a sophisticated decorative touch, making it an excellent choice for modern living rooms and updated period properties.
The chrome finish works particularly well with neutral interiors, marble surrounds and contemporary fireplace designs.
Designed for Inset Installation
The Dumfries is designed to fit into a suitable fireplace opening, making it an excellent option for upgrading an existing fireplace.
Its inset construction allows the appliance to sit neatly within a compatible surround.
An optional spacer kit is available for installations requiring additional flexibility.
Because the fire operates electrically, it does not require a functioning chimney or flue.
Always check the manufacturer's installation dimensions and clearance requirements before purchasing.
Eight-Hour Run-Back Timer
The integrated run-back timer provides convenient automatic operation.
Set the fire to run for a selected period of up to eight hours before switching off automatically.
This feature is particularly useful when relaxing in the evening or using the fire for supplementary heating.
Energy-Efficient LED Flame Lighting
The Dimplex Dumfries uses LED technology to create its realistic flame effects.
The lighting system provides an attractive visual display with low electricity consumption when operating independently of the heater.
This makes the flame-only function ideal for enjoying the atmosphere of a fireplace without additional room heating.
Built-In Safety Protection
The Dumfries includes an integrated safety cut-out designed to protect the appliance against overheating.
This provides additional reassurance during everyday operation.
As with all electric heaters, the fire should be installed and operated according to the manufacturer's safety instructions.
A Stylish Electric Fireplace for Modern Homes
Whether you're updating an existing fireplace or creating an attractive focal point for your living room, the Dimplex Dumfries Optiflame 3D Electric Fire offers an excellent combination of style, comfort and convenience.
