Featuring Dimplex's advanced Optiflame 3D technology, a powerful 2kW fan heater, adjustable flame colours and a choice of decorative fuel beds, the Dumfries offers an impressive combination of visual appeal and practical heating.
With remote control operation, thermostatic temperature control and an independent flame-only function, this electric fire allows you to enjoy the beauty of a traditional fireplace without the inconvenience of burning solid fuel.
Realistic Dimplex Optiflame 3D Technology
Experience the captivating appearance of a real fire with Dimplex's innovative Optiflame 3D technology.
Unlike conventional flat flame effects, Optiflame 3D creates an enhanced sense of depth, giving the impression of flames dancing naturally through the decorative fuel bed.
The advanced LED lighting system produces a realistic flame display that can be customised to suit your room and personal preferences.
Whether you're relaxing in the evening or entertaining guests, the Dumfries creates a beautiful fireplace focal point.
Customisable Flame Colours and Brightness
Create the perfect atmosphere with adjustable flame colour and brightness settings.
Choose from warm orange tones for a traditional fireplace appearance or introduce blue flame effects for a more contemporary look.
The flame intensity can also be adjusted, allowing you to select a gentle flicker or a more dramatic display.
With multiple flame settings, the Dumfries provides flexibility to complement different moods and occasions.
Choice of Decorative Fuel Beds
Personalise the appearance of your electric fire with a selection of decorative fuel bed options.
The Dimplex Dumfries offers coal, log and crystal effects, allowing you to create a fireplace display that suits your interior.
Choose traditional coals for a classic fireplace appearance, realistic logs for a cosy atmosphere or decorative crystals for a contemporary finish.
The adjustable fuel bed lighting enhances the overall visual effect.
Powerful 2kW Fan Heating
Enjoy practical supplementary warmth with the integrated 2000W fan heater.
The Dimplex Dumfries features two heat settings, allowing you to adjust the heating output according to your requirements.
Choose the lower 1kW setting for gentle warmth or the full 2kW setting when additional heating is needed.
This makes the fire particularly suitable for living rooms, dining rooms and other well-insulated spaces.
Adjustable Thermostat
Maintain a comfortable room temperature with the integrated variable thermostat.
The thermostatic control helps regulate the heater according to your selected temperature.
This provides convenient temperature management while helping avoid unnecessary heating.
Flame Effect Without Heat
Enjoy the beauty of a glowing fireplace throughout the year with the independent flame-only function.
The realistic Optiflame 3D display can operate without activating the heating element.
This allows you to create a welcoming atmosphere during warmer months without adding unnecessary heat to your room.
The LED flame effect consumes approximately 10W when operating independently of the heater.
Convenient Remote Control
Adjust your electric fire from the comfort of your sofa using the included remote control.
The remote allows you to manage the flame effect and heating functions without approaching the appliance.
Manual controls are also available on the fire itself, providing an alternative method of operation.
Traditional Antique Brass Finish
The Dimplex Dumfries features an elegant antique brass finish that complements traditional fireplaces and period-style interiors.
Its decorative fret and classic inset design create an authentic fireplace appearance.
The warm metallic finish works particularly well with traditional mantelpieces, stone surrounds and decorative fireplaces.
Whether you're updating an existing fireplace or creating a new focal point, the Dumfries adds character and sophistication to your room.
Designed for Inset Installation
The Dumfries is designed to fit into a suitable fireplace opening, making it an excellent choice for replacing an older electric fire or updating an existing fireplace.
Its inset design allows the fire to sit neatly within a compatible surround.
An optional spacer kit is also available for installations where additional flexibility is required.
Because the fire operates electrically, there is no need for a functioning chimney or flue.
Always check the manufacturer's installation dimensions and clearance requirements before purchasing.
Programmable Run-Back Timer
The integrated run-back timer allows you to set the fire to operate for a selected period before switching off automatically.
With timer settings of up to eight hours, this convenient feature provides additional flexibility during everyday use.
It's particularly useful when relaxing in the evening.
Energy-Efficient LED Flame Lighting
The Dumfries uses LED lighting to produce its realistic flame effects.
The flame-only setting consumes approximately 10W, allowing you to enjoy the appearance of a glowing fire without running the heating element.
This makes it a practical decorative feature throughout the year.
