With two heat settings of 1kW and 2kW, you can choose between lower-output background warmth and the full 2kW setting when you want a quicker boost of heat. The fan distributes warm air directly into the room, making this style of heater particularly useful when you want more immediate warmth rather than waiting for a radiator to gradually heat the surrounding space.
A variable mechanical thermostat gives you control over the room temperature. Once the selected temperature has been reached, the heater cycles on and off automatically to help maintain it rather than continuously producing heat at full output.
The DXFF20TSN also includes a dedicated frost protection setting, which can maintain a temperature of approximately 5°C to help protect against frosty conditions. This can be useful in suitable rooms that are not continuously occupied during colder weather.
For additional versatility, a Cool Blow setting allows the fan to operate without heat. This gives the heater some practical use during warmer weather too, although it should be considered a simple cool-air circulation function rather than an alternative to an air conditioner.
Its distinctive low-profile letterbox design measures just 114mm high, while an integrated carry handle and lightweight 1.24kg construction make it easy to move from room to room. There's no permanent installation required — simply position it appropriately, plug it in and select the desired setting.
Safety is covered by an integrated safety cut-out and overheat protection. The heater is also IP21 rated, BEAB approved and Ecodesign compliant.
