Description
Bring smart, programmable electric heating to your home with the Dimplex DAR075 AluRad Wi-Fi Electric Radiator. Combining the familiar appearance of a traditional radiator with modern app control and energy-saving features, the AluRad is designed to provide comfortable radiant and convected warmth while fitting naturally into contemporary or traditional interiors.
With a 750W heat output, the DAR075 is one of the more compact models in the AluRad range. Its wall-mounted design measures just 583mm high, 490mm wide and 130mm deep, making it particularly useful where wall space is limited.
The radiator uses oil-based heating technology within a robust aluminium body to provide a combination of radiant and convected heat. The heating chassis is manufactured from 100% recycled aluminium, giving the AluRad a traditional radiator-style appearance while taking advantage of aluminium's heating characteristics.
Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows the radiator to connect directly to the CapaConnect app, so heating can be managed from a compatible smartphone or tablet without requiring a separate heating hub. Through the app, users can create schedules, organise multiple radiators into rooms or zones, make temporary heating adjustments and manage access to connected heaters.
For everyday programming, the DAR075 includes a 7-day programmable timer with up to four heating periods per day. An accurate electronic thermostat provides precise temperature management, while Adaptive Start can learn when heating needs to begin to reach the programmed temperature at the required time.
An Open Window Detection function provides another useful energy-saving feature. If the radiator detects the characteristic sudden temperature drop associated with an open window, it can respond rather than continuing to heat the room unnecessarily.
Controls can also be accessed directly from the radiator through tactile buttons and a clear 1.7-inch TFT LCD display, so everyday adjustments don't depend on having your phone nearby. A key lock helps prevent unwanted changes to the settings.
The AluRad is IP24 rated, making it splash resistant and suitable for appropriate bathroom installations when installed in accordance with electrical regulations. A thermal safety cut-out is also incorporated into the design.
