Description
Enjoy comfortable, convenient electric heating with the Dimplex Alta 2000W WiFi Panel Heater. Combining powerful 2kW heating performance with intelligent temperature control, smartphone connectivity and a sleek wall-mounted design, the Alta offers a modern solution for heating living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and other indoor spaces.
Featuring a precision electronic thermostat, seven-day programmable timer and integrated WiFi connectivity, the Dimplex Alta DTD4R 20 allows you to personalise your heating schedule while maintaining a comfortable room temperature.
Powerful 2000W Electric Heating
The Dimplex Alta delivers 2000W of electric heating through an efficient aluminium convection element.
Cooler air enters the heater and is warmed before circulating naturally through the upward-facing grille, helping distribute warmth throughout the room.
With no fan required, the Alta provides quiet heating suitable for bedrooms, living areas and workspaces.
Built-In WiFi and CAPA Connect App Control
Control your heating conveniently using the CAPA Connect smartphone app.
The Alta's integrated WiFi connectivity allows you to manage heating settings, adjust temperatures and personalise schedules using a compatible smartphone.
This makes it easier to manage your heating around your daily routine without relying entirely on the heater's onboard controls.
Seven-Day Programmable Heating Timer
The Dimplex Alta features a seven-day programmable timer with up to seven heating periods per day.
Create heating schedules that reflect your lifestyle, whether you need warmth in the morning, throughout the working day or during the evening.
Customisable schedules help reduce unnecessary heating by allowing you to select when your room should be heated.
Precision Electronic Thermostat
The integrated electronic thermostat offers accurate temperature regulation to within approximately ±0.2°C.
With a selectable temperature range of 7°C to 30°C, you can adjust the heater to suit your preferred comfort level.
This precise control helps maintain a consistent room temperature while reducing unnecessary heating cycles.
Multiple Heating Modes
The Dimplex Alta offers several operating modes to suit different heating requirements.
Choose from Normal, Comfort, Eco, Away and Off modes to customise the heater's operation.
Eco mode provides an option for reduced-temperature heating, while Away mode is useful when the room or property is unoccupied.
Open Window Detection
The Alta incorporates open window detection technology to help reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
When the heater detects a sudden temperature drop consistent with an open window, it can respond by adjusting heating operation.
This helps prevent wasted electricity when warm indoor air is escaping.
Child Lock and Heater Lock
For added convenience, the Dimplex Alta features child lock and heater lock functions.
These controls help prevent accidental changes to heating settings, making the heater particularly practical for busy family homes and shared spaces.
Slim Wall-Mounted Design
With a depth of just 90mm, the Alta offers a streamlined appearance that complements modern interiors.
Its durable steel casing is finished in Traffic White, while the upward-facing grille supports effective natural convection.
The supplied H-frame wall bracket allows secure fixed installation, keeping floor space clear.
Reliable Heating with Built-In Safety Protection
The Dimplex Alta incorporates an automatic-reset thermal safety cut-out to protect against overheating.
Its IP24 rating provides protection against splashing water, making it suitable for appropriately positioned installations where the manufacturer's electrical safety requirements are met.
Combining 2kW heating performance, precision temperature control, smart WiFi connectivity and flexible scheduling, the Dimplex Alta DTD4R 20 is a practical choice for modern electric home heating.
