Description
Create a spectacular focal point in your home with the Dimplex 3 Step Multicolour Optimyst Electric Fire. Combining innovative flame technology, contemporary styling and flexible installation options, this premium built-in electric fireplace brings the atmosphere of a real fire into modern living spaces.
Featuring Dimplex's advanced Optimyst flame technology, multicolour flame effects, realistic decorative logs and integrated electric heating, the 3 Step offers an impressive combination of visual appeal and practical comfort.
With the option of front-facing, two-sided or three-sided installation, this versatile electric fire is ideal for contemporary living rooms, feature walls and open-plan interiors.
Realistic Optimyst Flame Technology
Experience beautifully realistic flames with Dimplex's innovative Optimyst technology.
Unlike conventional electric fires that rely entirely on projected lighting effects, Optimyst uses ultrasonic technology to transform water into a fine mist.
Specially designed lighting illuminates the mist, creating the appearance of realistic flames and smoke rising from the decorative fuel bed.
The result is an impressive three-dimensional flame effect that closely resembles a traditional wood-burning fire.
Multicolour Flame Effects
Personalise your fireplace with the Dimplex 3 Step's multicolour flame technology.
The RGB lighting system allows you to change the appearance of the flame effect, creating different colours and atmospheres to complement your interior.
Choose a traditional warm flame appearance for a cosy evening or explore alternative colours for a more contemporary display.
The adjustable lighting makes the fireplace an attractive decorative feature throughout the year.
Three Flexible Installation Configurations
The Dimplex 3 Step offers excellent flexibility when planning your fireplace installation.
Choose between three configurations to complement your room layout.
Front-Facing Installation
Create a traditional fireplace appearance with a single front-facing flame display.
This arrangement works beautifully in contemporary feature walls and modern living rooms.
Two-Sided Installation
Enjoy the flame effect from the front and one side of the fireplace.
This configuration is particularly attractive for corner installations.
Three-Sided Installation
Create a panoramic fireplace with views from the front and both sides.
The three-sided configuration provides an impressive architectural feature, allowing the flames to be enjoyed from different positions within the room.
Realistic Decorative Log Fuel Bed
The Dimplex 3 Step features a decorative log fuel bed designed to complement its realistic flame effects.
The carefully arranged logs create the appearance of a traditional wood-burning fireplace.
When combined with the illuminated water mist, the fuel bed helps produce an immersive and convincing fire display.
Integrated Electric Heating
Enjoy practical warmth alongside the beautiful flame display.
The Dimplex 3 Step incorporates an electric heating system that provides supplementary warmth when required.
The European RGB model has a nominal heating output of approximately 1.16kW at 230V and 1.26kW at 240V.
This makes it particularly useful for adding comfort during colder evenings.
Electronic Temperature Control
Maintain a comfortable room temperature with the integrated electronic heating controls.
The Dimplex 3 Step allows you to manage heating independently of the decorative flame effect.
This provides convenient control over your room's comfort while allowing the fireplace to remain a decorative feature.
Seven-Day Programmable Timer
Enjoy convenient heating control with the integrated weekly timer.
The programmable system allows you to schedule heating around your daily routine.
This is particularly useful for households that want additional warmth during selected periods without operating the heater continuously.
Flame Effect Without Heat
Enjoy the beautiful appearance of a realistic fire throughout the year.
The Dimplex 3 Step allows the Optimyst flame effect to operate independently of the heating system.
This means you can enjoy the atmosphere of dancing flames even during warmer months.
The flame-only function makes the fireplace an attractive decorative feature regardless of the season.
Convenient Remote Control
Adjust your fireplace settings from the comfort of your sofa with the included remote control.
The remote provides convenient access to supported flame and heating functions.
Manual controls are also available directly on the appliance.
Built-In Electric Fireplace Design
The Dimplex 3 Step is designed for installation within a suitable fireplace surround or purpose-built wall opening.
Its contemporary appearance complements modern interiors, while the flexible viewing configurations allow it to suit different room layouts.
The fire can be incorporated into a carefully designed feature wall to create an impressive focal point.
Installation must follow the manufacturer's requirements for ventilation, clearances and access for maintenance.
No Chimney or Flue Required
Unlike traditional wood-burning fireplaces, the Dimplex 3 Step does not require a chimney or flue.
Its electric operation eliminates the need for gas connections, firewood storage and chimney cleaning.
This makes it an attractive option for contemporary homes and renovations where installing a traditional fireplace would be impractical.
Water-Based Flame Technology
The Optimyst system uses water to create its realistic flame and smoke effects.
The water reservoir requires periodic refilling, while regular cleaning helps maintain reliable operation.
Dimplex recommends cleaning the water tank and associated components weekly to help prevent limescale and bacterial build-up.
This is particularly important in areas with hard water.
A Striking Centrepiece for Modern Homes
Whether you're renovating your living room, creating a contemporary feature wall or designing a stylish open-plan interior, the Dimplex 3 Step Multicolour Optimyst Electric Fire offers a beautiful combination of innovative technology and practical heating.
With realistic water-mist flames, adjustable multicolour lighting, flexible installation options and convenient remote control, it provides an impressive alternative to a traditional fireplace.
