The Dimplex LST150E Low Surface Temperature Panel Heater provides safe, comfortable and energy-efficient electric heating for homes, schools, nurseries, care homes and other environments where additional protection against hot surfaces is important.
Part of the Dimplex LSTE range, this 1500W wall-mounted electric heater is specifically designed to maintain an external surface temperature of no more than 43°C during normal operation. This makes it particularly suitable for environments occupied by young children, older people and individuals who may be vulnerable to accidental contact with hot heating appliances.
Unlike conventional panel heaters, the Dimplex LST150E combines a low surface temperature design with fan-assisted heating. This allows the heater to warm rooms quickly and efficiently while maintaining its protective surface temperature limit.
The integrated electronic thermostat provides accurate temperature control to within ±0.2°C, helping maintain consistent comfort throughout the day. A seven-day programmable timer allows users to create heating schedules to suit different routines, with convenient preset programmes including Home All Day and Out All Day.
Additional energy-saving features include adaptive start technology, which calculates when heating should begin to achieve the desired temperature, and open window detection, which helps prevent unnecessary energy consumption when a sudden temperature drop is detected.
The LST150E also features a modern RGB backlit display with touch-sensitive controls, making it easy to adjust temperatures, select heating modes and manage programmed schedules.
For additional flexibility, the heater supports remote operation through the Dimplex Control app when connected to the separately available RF module and Dimplex Control Hub.
With IP24 splash protection, child lock functionality, automatic overheat protection and a durable white powder-coated steel casing, the Dimplex LST150E is a practical heating solution for both residential and commercial environments.
