Description
The Burco MFCT10ST is a compact 10-litre manual fill water boiler designed to provide a convenient supply of piping hot water in workplaces, hospitality environments and other locations where a permanently plumbed boiler isn't required.
With no mains water connection necessary, the boiler can simply be manually filled, plugged into a standard 13A socket and positioned wherever a suitable electrical supply and stable worktop are available. This makes it particularly useful for staff rooms, offices, cafés, community centres, sports clubs, waiting areas, site offices and mobile catering applications.
A powerful heating element brings a full 10-litre capacity up to temperature in approximately 25 minutes. Once heated, the variable thermostat allows the water temperature to be adjusted to suit different requirements rather than restricting the appliance to a single fixed setting.
The durable stainless steel construction is designed to withstand regular use while also providing an easy-clean exterior suitable for busy commercial environments.
A concealed heating element keeps the element away from direct contact during routine cleaning and contributes to a cleaner internal design. Boil-dry protection provides an important additional safety feature, protecting the appliance if it is accidentally switched on without sufficient water.
The dispensing tap features Burco's locking design, allowing it to be used either for controlled dispensing or continuous flow. This is particularly convenient when filling multiple cups or larger containers, while still providing straightforward single-cup dispensing during normal use.
A neon indicator light clearly shows when the appliance is switched on and heating. Integrated carry handles also make the boiler easier to reposition when empty and cool.
The lid incorporates a flush-fitting handle with a fingertip guard designed to provide additional protection from hot surfaces and steam during normal operation.
Because the MFCT10ST requires neither plumbing nor hardwiring, installation is exceptionally straightforward. A 1.7-metre power cable and standard UK/Ireland three-pin plug are fitted, so the boiler is ready to connect to an appropriate 220–240V mains socket.
At only 300mm wide, the 10-litre model is also a particularly useful option where countertop space is limited. Its compact footprint makes it easier to accommodate than the larger 20-litre and 30-litre Burco manual-fill boilers while still providing sufficient hot-water capacity for many smaller workplaces and catering environments.
For businesses looking for a simple and dependable alternative to repeatedly boiling domestic kettles, the Burco MFCT10ST provides a practical combination of 10-litre capacity, variable temperature control, robust stainless steel construction and plug-and-go convenience.
