Below the hob, the main conventional gas oven uses natural convection to create different heat zones within the cavity. Heat naturally rises towards the top of the oven, making the upper shelves particularly useful for roasting while more delicate dishes can be positioned lower down. This traditional style of gas cooking gives you flexibility when preparing several parts of a meal at the same time.
A separate top cavity incorporates a variable gas grill, so grilling can be carried out independently from the main oven. The open-door grilling design allows air to circulate around food while cooking, helping remove excess moisture for crispier grilled and toasted results.
